Irvine, CA (Onsite) Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Future Hybrid Potential W2 Only | No C2C Arrangements We are partnering with a growing, project-driven organization in Irvine seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an onsite opportunity with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting foundation, hands-on NetSuite experience , and prior experience supporting the construction, contracting, engineering, or project-based industries . This position will play a key role in month-end close, project accounting, financial reporting, and maintaining the accuracy of financial records. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end close adjustments Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support project accounting, job costing, and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting Assist with revenue recognition and contract accounting activities Prepare financial analyses and management reporting packages Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation Identify process improvements and help strengthen internal controls Partner with project managers and operational teams to support financial reporting needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of accounting experience NetSuite experience required Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience Construction industry experience strongly preferred Experience with job costing, project accounting, and WIP schedules Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting and revenue recognition Background supporting contractors, developers, engineering firms, or other project-based businesses Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment What We're Looking For A hands-on accountant who can contribute immediately Someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment A professional who is comfortable working directly with operations and project teams A detail-oriented problem solver with strong ownership and accountability An individual seeking a long-term opportunity with growth potential Why Consider This Opportunity?
