Staff Accountant

What we ask of you: The Staff Accountant is responsible for the flow of financial data through the chart of accounts, oversight of the entire monthly accounting cycle, and department workflow. Direct control of accounts receivable and month-end reconciliations as well as the general ledger, accounts receivable, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliation, routine production and overhead expense review, employee benefits , and bank reconciliations. Prepares financial analysis as requested and perform other duties as required.

Must be able to:

Perform complex calculations Analyze and interpret financial information Be proficient on a variety of computer programs Have the ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policy and guidelines

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BS in Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting in an automotive business Excellent computer skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent interpersonal skills Must be able to meet the requirements of the schedule Ability to handle confidential information appropriately What we offer: $30 - $35 per hour We are a casual, friendly, and family-oriented business.
