Our operations span global sourcing, overseas manufacturing, import logistics, U.S. warehousing, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce. We work closely with our North Carolina operations, India team, and international suppliers. Job Summary We are hiring a Junior / Staff Accountant to support general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close . This role is ideal for a motivated, early-career accountant seeking hands-on experience in e-commerce, inventory, and operational accounting, with strong growth potential. You will work closely with senior accountants and cross-functional teams and receive training in multi-entity accounting and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Month-End Accounting Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple entities Perform account reconciliations (cash, expenses, AP/AR, inventory, COGS) Support month-end and year-end close E-Commerce Accounting Assist with accounting for Amazon, Shopify, Wayfair, Faire, and other marketplaces Reconcile marketplace payouts, fees, chargebacks, and deductions Inventory & Cost Accounting Support inventory and COGS reconciliations Assist with land cost tracking (freight, duty, warehousing) Help review vendor invoices and inbound shipment documentation Tax & Compliance Support Assist with U.S. sales tax filings and resale certificate tracking Maintain organized accounting and tax support schedules Support CPA firms with audit and tax data preparation Process Improvement Maintain accurate financial records Assist with system clean-up, documentation, and process improvements Perform ad-hoc accounting support as needed Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress) 1-3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted) Understanding of general ledger and basic accounting principles Proficiency in Excel Preferred Experience or interest in e-commerce, inventory, or operations accounting ERP exposure (NetSuite preferred, not required) Strong desire to learn and grow into a Senior Accountant role Skills & Attributes Detail-oriented and organized Proactive, energetic, and eager to learn Strong time management and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment Chinese language skills are a plus
