Job Overview:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with approximately 5 years of accounting experience to join a growing team in Long Beach. The ideal candidate will have experience within the manufacturing or consumer products industry, a strong understanding of month-end close, and hands-on experience with Oracle. This role will support key accounting functions including fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustmentsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesMaintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciationPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesSupport general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial dataAnalyze financial results and assist with variance explanationsWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatmentAssist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as neededEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
