Boise, ID Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing organization in the food manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving financial processes and driving operational efficiency. The Accounting Manager will oversee the full accounting function using QuickBooks Enterprise and manage the revenue cycle from order entry through accounts receivable. Key Responsibilities Manage all core accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), payroll, general ledger, and month-end close Supervise order entry, billing, and collections processes Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Enterprise) in a multi-brand setup Prepare accurate and timely financial statements Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial processes Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation activities Mentor and supervise accounting staff, if applicable Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred, not mandatory) QuickBooks experience (preferred) Accounting experience in manufacturing or related industry (preferred) Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and profitability analysis Experience in process improvement and financial controls High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to clearly communicate financial insights to leadership Preferred Skills Financial process improvement Financial forecasting and budgeting Accounts payable and receivable management Cash flow management Manufacturing or CPG industry experience Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
