$80,000 - $95,000 per year Job Details - Job Details We are on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Permanent Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to showcase their expertise in financial management and contribute to the success of our engineering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our projects, from budget setup to cost tracking, invoice tracking, and subcontractor onboarding. Responsibilities As a Permanent Project Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Setting up and managing project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately tracked and reported. 2. Tracking and organizing contracts, invoices, lien releases, and waivers, ensuring all financial documents are properly filed and accessible. 3. Onboarding subcontractors, ensuring they are properly vetted and their financial information is accurately recorded. 4. Communicating effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members to ensure all financial matters are addressed promptly and accurately. 5. Providing accurate and timely financial reports to project managers and other stakeholders, ensuring they have the information they need to make informed decisions. 6. Conducting regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Accountant position will have the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the Engineering industry. 3. Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost tracking, invoice tracking, and subcontractor onboarding. 4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders. 5. A high level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 6. Proficiency in financial software programs and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of financial management. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues quickly and effectively.
