Key Responsibilities Complex Compliance:
Prepare sophisticated federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
Tax Planning & Research:
Analyze multi-tiered tax positions, research statutory changes, and develop tailored tax strategies.
Client Advisory:
Act as a direct point of contact for key client stakeholders, managing deliverables, expectations, and consulting needs.
Engagement Management:
Lead multiple concurrent engagements from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and strict deadline adherence.
Team Mentorship:
Collaborate closely with partners and mentor junior staff through review feedback and technical knowledge sharing.
Qualifications Experience:
8+ years of progressive tax preparation and advisory experience within a public accounting environment.
Technical Breadth:
Deep expertise in federal and state compliance across diverse entity structures (Individuals, Partnerships, S/C-Corps, Trusts).
Project Execution:
Strong organizational leadership with a proven track record of managing multi-deadline workflows independently.
Communication:
Exceptional client-facing presence and clear technical writing skills.
Education & Credentials:
Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Taxation; active CPA license preferred.
Perks & Compensation Target Base Salary:
$135,000 - $150,000 +
