Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, organizing account activity, and keeping financial data accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile balance sheet and other assigned accounts on a regular basis, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing accruals, adjustments, and other required accounting entries.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables.
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements by preparing documentation and supporting audit requests.
- Contribute to day-to-day accounting operations by assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related processes as needed.
- Participate in budgeting support and financial analysis by tracking performance and explaining notable variances against plan.
- Recommend and support improvements to accounting workflows to increase accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
