Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Ontario, California. In this long-term contract role, you will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, general ledger management, and full-cycle accounting. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed reconciliations across multiple entities and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and formulas, to analyze and organize financial information.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Prepare and post accounting entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct thorough searches and reviews of financial data across multiple portals and shared drives.
• Collaborate on system conversion projects, supporting the transition to new accounting software.
• Ensure financial records are organized and accessible for audits and reporting purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reconciliations and reports.
• Provide analytical support to enhance overall accounting operations and identify areas for improvement.
