This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, navigate multiple data sources, and manage core accounting activities across several entities with accuracy and consistency. The position requires strong Excel capability, hands-on general ledger experience, and the ability to contribute across the full accounting cycle in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform account and bank reconciliations across multiple entities, reviewing records from separate systems and shared data sources to resolve discrepancies accurately. Maintain general ledger activity by preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries that support month-to-month accounting accuracy. Handle full-cycle accounting tasks, including support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial recordkeeping. Use Excel extensively to organize, analyze, and validate accounting data through tools such as pivot tables and advanced workbook functions. Investigate variances and trace transactional details across different portals and files to ensure financial information is complete and reliable. Assist with ongoing accounting projects and provide support for system-related process updates, including work connected to the planned transition to Epicor. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather documentation, clarify account activity, and keep deliverables on schedule for the duration of the project. Experience in staff accounting with solid knowledge of general ledger processes and full-cycle accounting activities. Demonstrated ability to complete account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, including pivot tables and data analysis functions. Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online in an accounting setting with strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting entries. Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and remain focused on project commitments. Availability to work a 40-hour schedule on-site Monday through Friday in Ontario, California.
