About the Company Over a century ago, Armanino started as immigrants from Liguria, Italy, the birthplace of pesto. It started as a mom-and-pop grocery that became the roots of today's Armanino. For nearly 100 years, Armanino has taken the time to care and grow and select locally-sourced, artisan ingredients for chef-inspired recipes that add flavor and spice to your favorite foods. We take pride in globalizing the American palate through our array of sauces, meatballs, and grated cheeses. Our products are served through food service outlets as well as seen on retail shelves across the nation. We are based in Pleasanton, CA, and our products are made in Hayward, CA. We are traded under the OTC market with ticker symbol AMNF. Position Summary This role is responsible for developing and maintaining standard costing systems, analyzing production variances, and providing financial insights that drive profitability and efficiency. The Senior Cost Accountant will partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Cost Analysis & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. Prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to plant leadership and finance teams. Compare standard costs to actual costs and explain variances Inventory Management Monitor and reconcile inventory balances, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Ensure accurate valuation of inventory in compliance with accounting standards. Work with production teams to adjust Bills of Materials (BOMs) as needed. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing costs. Provide input on cost projections for new product launches and trials. Process Improvement Identify cost-saving opportunities in production processes. Partner with operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Support implementation of ERP or costing systems to enhance accuracy. Compliance & Controls Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies. Support external and internal audits related to manufacturing costs.

0 Ideal Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional designation (CPA, CMA) preferred. 5-7 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing; food & beverage industry strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and variance analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and R D. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement. Compensation The pay range for this role takes into account the wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $95,000- 110,000. The role will also have a bonus compensation component. Work Conditions
