Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Accounting department with general administration. Accurately reconciles customer accounts receivable accounts. Follows up with customers on over-due items. Reviews and sends monthly statements. Accurately sets up new customer & vendor accounts. Reviews and sends customer invoices. Completes inventory analysis. Reconciles logistics monthly spend. Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintain accountability for performance. Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Candidates for the Accounting Intern role should posses the following: Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook). SAP experience strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills PowerBI and PowerPivots experience strongly preferred. Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills. Valuable experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. Mentorship from seasoned accounting professionals. Exposure to real-world scenarios and opportunities to contribute to accounting efforts.
