We provide high-level accounting, financial reporting, and CFO advisory services tailored to each client's specific needs. Our mission is to bring "big-business" financial expertise to the small business community. Position Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Experienced Income Tax Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for helping business owners understand their financials. You'll work directly with the principal advisor and clients to manage books, prepare financial statements, and provide key insights that drive better business decisions. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple small-business clients (cash & accrual basis) Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations Oversee month-end and year-end closes Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate with tax preparers and auditors as needed Review business and personal tax returns (Must have experience with Form 1120, 1065, & 1040) Supervise or review work prepared by junior accountants or bookkeepers Communicate directly with clients to explain financial reports and recommendations ⸻ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-7 years of public accounting experience or client-service setting Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and modern accounting tools Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA or EA certification a plus (not required) Live within 20 minutes of Rancho Cucamonga, CA Not interested in offshore or staffing agencies ⸻ Schedule & Compensation Flexible schedule: Part-time - Onsite (Potential hybrid after training) Competitive hourly pay $25.00 - $32.50 Opportunities for growth, Advisory-level roles ⸻
