Senior Accountant Redondo Beach , CA Direct Hire Accounting $110K to $140K 05/29/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead period end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting across general ledger accounts. Prepare and review reconciliations, revenue activity, and supporting schedules to maintain accurate records. Support daily accounting operations, including coordination of payables, receivables, payroll, and expense processes. Assist with cost tracking and inventory analysis by working with operations to evaluate performance and margins. Contribute to process improvements, system updates, and audit readiness while supporting cross functional reporting needs.

Requirements:

3+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment. Strong understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, and close cycles. Knowledge of accounting standards and ability to apply them in practice. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Previous experience working with accounting systems and supporting system implementations.

Qualifications:

Certified public accountant credential or progress toward certification. Previous experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or inventory driven environments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. Detail oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting.
