Sr. Accountant

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting team of our real estate client during an important transformation in Redondo Beach, California. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for core accounting functions while actively supporting a significant reorganization of the company's legal entity structure.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the transition from over 100 active entities into a streamlined, newly designed entity structure.
• Assist in closing legacy entities and onboarding new legal entities into the accounting framework.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including payroll and recurring monthly entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and develop supplemental schedules.
• Process and verify invoice journals, including utility and investor payment journals.
• Manage corporate accounting workflows, ensuring consistency and precision across financial entries and schedules.
• Generate consolidation reports and compile monthly financial statements for review.
• Support lender covenant reporting and debt compliance packages with timely and accurate submissions.
• Maintain and replicate consolidation trees as legacy structures phase out.
