Non-Exempt What You'll Do:
Prepare bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations across the operating entities Support month-end close: journal entries, cash receipt postings, credit card allocations, and account analysis Intercompany Reconciliations Billing support for the AR team on billing disputes, customer rejections, and client portal issues, taking ownership through resolution Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, and keep the auditor request list moving during audit season Handle new client and vendor onboarding packets — company documents, insurance certificates, and required forms Crosstrain in Accounts Payable to provide department coverage Serve as backup across staff accounting and AR functions
Requirements:
Three or more years of full-cycle accounting experience Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent (verifiable) hands-on experience Valid Drive License Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check
Preferred:
Knowledge of job costing, subcontractor billing, WIP, reconciliation, retention Experience with Sage/Masterbuilder Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Excel Multi-entity, multi-state and intercompany reconciliation experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Physical Demands, Screen Time & Ergonomics Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
