Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Staff Accountant to support the accounting team with key day-to-day finance functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work onsite in San Mateo 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide audit support, including preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and assisting with auditor requests. Perform account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations. Process and support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, and payment preparation. Assist with month-end close tasks and maintain accurate financial records. Help ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and procedures. Support ad hoc accounting projects and reporting needs as assigned.
