Up to $57.69 per hour DOE Letty Stuard with LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fast growing client in Santa Ana to identify a strong Senior Accountant. This role is open based on experience level, with flexibility for a high performing Staff Accountant ready to grow or a proven Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organization that is scaling operations, including a recent East Coast acquisition, and is seeking someone who is curious, detail oriented, and eager to take ownership. Overview The ideal candidate is a self starter who takes time to understand the why behind processes, particularly within financial reporting and Excel driven analysis. This role will play a key part in supporting full P and L responsibility and helping improve and scale accounting processes. Key Highlights Full P and L ownership Heavy involvement in month end close Opportunity to improve processes and make recommendations Exposure to NetSuite and departmental expense tracking High growth environment with significant new client activity Looking for someone focused, hardworking, and not afraid to try new approaches Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company accounting policies while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls Own monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and post month end journal entries Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Analyze financial results and identify trends and insights Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, including depreciation tracking Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Assist with external audits Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information Participate in process improvement and restructuring initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities May provide day to day guidance and training to junior accounting staff Qualifications Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month end close Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis Experience with NetSuite preferred Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong analytical and problem solving skills Effective communicator able to collaborate cross functionally Naturally curious mindset with a desire to understand financial drivers Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum of 4 or more years of accounting experience Manufacturing or cost accounting experience required Print or medical industry experience is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile Curious and solution oriented Strong attention to detail, especially in financial formulas and reporting Comfortable in a fast paced, high growth environment Brings ideas and suggestions for improvement Hardworking, focused, and proactive Please click apply now and submit your resume.
