Pay Range:
ACCOUNTANT, SR
- $36.47 to $58.35 Job Summary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability and other special projects as assigned. Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures. Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis. Responsible for audit requests during year-end audit.
Licensure and Certification:
N/A Education:
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration required with a concentration in Accounting preferred
Experience:
At least five (5) years' experience as a Senior Accountant in a healthcare environment
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of principles and procedures of Accounting/GAAP - generally accepted accounting principles Knowledge of hospital organization Must be able to communicate effectively to ensure satisfactory performance of work activities Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Ability to meet and deal effectively with department personnel Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations
