Position Type:
Full-Time, HybridPosition OverviewThe Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, supporting month-end close, and preparing financial reports. This role involves moderate to high-complexity accounting work and requires strong accuracy, analytical ability, and proactive communication. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are needed to support communication with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full-cycle accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

Prepare and review complex journal entries.

Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Partner with bilingual internal teams to clarify accounting matters and financial information.

Support high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments and invoicing.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and assist with tax-related filings and regulatory requirements.

Conduct variance analysis, prepare financial statements, and provide reporting insights to leadership.

Coordinate audit support activities and help maintain internal controls.

Mentor junior accounting staff and/or review their work as needed.

QualificationsFull fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a senior-level or lead capacity.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as, Oracle, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

CPA or similar certification preferred.

Experience using AI tools or APIs to improve processes is a plus.
