Job Description:
Fund Accountant opportunity I'm working on with a $3B+ private equity fund based in Los Angeles (Brentwood/Santa Monica area). This role is open due to growth and provides extensive exposure across the business. You'll work closely with the front office and external stakeholders, offering high visibility and development. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to gain broad experience within a growing private equity firm and progressively take on increased responsibility under the guidance of senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities :
  • Partner closely with the firm's third-party fund administrator to oversee fund accounting operations, quarterly/annual reporting, NAV reviews, and financial statement processes
  • Support investor reporting across capital account statements, performance reporting, K-1s, capital calls/distributions, and ad-hoc LP requests
  • Review management fees, expense allocations, and waterfall calculations in accordance with partnership agreements and firm policies
  • Play a key role in portfolio valuation processes by collaborating with deal teams and external valuation consultants on fair market analyses and support schedules
  • Monitor fund and management company cash activity, prepare lender reporting packages, and oversee invoice/vendor payment workflows across the platform
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and help streamline accounting, reporting, and operational workflows across the firm
  • Contribute to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative investment environment
