Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must. The ideal candidate is a technical thinker who has ability to transfer details into the big picture with focusing on process improvement. Previous experience in the high volume manufacturing cost accounting is a MUST. Job Specifications 5-10+ years standard Cost Accounting/Analysis experience, preferably in a large manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Bilingual in English and Spanish Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables and v lookups Valid driver's license, current proof of insurance and clean driving record Responsibilities Assists in developing standard cost and labor and overhead rates Performs analysis of product and project costs including material variances and labor efficiencies Performs physical inventory count reconciliations Assists in month end general ledger close and prepare journal entries Assists in the preparation of budget, forecast and variance analysis Develops process improvements and/or procedural controls Assists in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other internal and external financial reporting Supports financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors Other cost and general accounting responsibilities and special projects as required Regular, reliable and predictable attendance May perform other job related duties as assigned May be assigned to any Scantibodies location for any period of time May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. This may include duties in another department or outside your normal scope of work.
