Full-Time | Onsite Transition Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry success to hire a Senior Accountant . This is a high-impact, hands-on role working directly alongside the CFO, offering strong visibility, stability, and a clear path for growth into an Accounting Manager position. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process, operating with autonomy, and contributing to process improvements within a collaborative, close-knit team environment. Key Responsibilities Own general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness Prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages for leadership Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across accounts Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and support year-end audit activities Partner cross-functionally with operations on inventory reconciliation and analysis Monitor AR/AP aging and assist with collections and cash flow visibility Support cash flow tracking and basic treasury functions Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Proven ability to own the close process and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment Preferred / Plus Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience with ERP systems (D365, SAP, or similar) Prior experience supporting audits and working with external auditors/CPAs Exposure to inventory accounting and operational collaboration Bilingual English/Korean skills are a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary ($85,000-$90,000 DOE) Comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage (100% paid employee & spouse) 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off, holidays, and sick leave Stable, long-tenured company with strong leadership and growth opportunity
