Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Procore and Quickbooks software, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, reporting, and compliance across all ongoing projects. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling complex bookkeeping tasks independently and efficiently. Duties Manage full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and detailed job costing. Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy in double-entry bookkeeping systems Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform bank and account reconciliations regularly Maintain the integrity of financial data using accounting and tracking software such as QuickBooks and Procore Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports for management review weekly Ensure compliance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards where applicable Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting activities across multiple projects Handle tax-related tasks including preparation of supporting documentation Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Maintain organized records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies Track and log detailed job expenses using CSI Master codes for granular job costing reports Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role with a strong understanding of corporate and governmental accounting practices Proficiency in Quickbooks and Procore platforms both in use and integration using CSI Master codes for detailed job costing and projections. Solid knowledge of GAAP principles, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management Experience with financial report writing and account reconciliation processes Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable management and payroll processing Strong understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, account analysis, and technical accounting practices Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately under deadlines 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and processing Prior experience in public accounting or governmental accounting is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy standards This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's financial health through expert bookkeeping practices.
