Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records across assigned accounts.
- Reconcile general ledger balances and investigate discrepancies to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities by organizing account activity and validating financial data.
- Maintain accounting records related to property management operations, including tracking transactions and reviewing supporting documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting by compiling schedules, analyzing account activity, and preparing documentation for management review.
- Work within Yardi and other accounting systems to enter data, review ledgers, and improve consistency in financial records.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues, clarify transaction details, and support day-to-day operational needs.
