Job Description

We have a vacancy for a Senior Accountant position for a permanent opportunity in the Agriculture industry in the Porterville, California area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.   • Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
  • Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
  • Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
  • Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
  • Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks
  • Partake in various department-wide initiatives
