Opportunity:

National Security Systems is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on accountant for AP, AR, and payroll with some overlap in inventory management and purchasing to support our growing operations. This role involves a mix of general accounting, and purchasing with management of customer billing and collections. You'll work closely with management, operations and sales to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Post accounts receivable deposits and credit card payments Process accounts payable and ensure timely/accurate vendor payments Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Support accounts receivable collections Oversee data entry of new customers Oversee invoicing is being done accurately File quarterly sales (use) tax return Assist with month-end close and reporting tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience 2+ years of accounting or finance experience Must have attention to detail and accuracy Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel preferred Able to learn industry specific accounting software

Applicants must be able to pass a background check. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
