Full Job Description Experience:
Senior Level Salary:
$85,000•$95,000 per year Job Details•1. Oversee and manage daily accounting tasks, including inventory management, GL, bank reconciliations, and cost accounting. 2. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 3. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. 4. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes. 5. Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations. 6. Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 7. Assist with the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and manage financial audits. 8. Act as a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters. 9. Support the CFO and finance department with various projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is highly desirable. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on inventory management, GL, bank reconciliations, and cost accounting. Ideally in a construction setting. 3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills. 4. Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and regulations. 5. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. 6. Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
