This role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in accounting, specifically in managing grants and financial reporting. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities Perform grant allocation and grant accounting to ensure funds are accurately managed and distributed. Record journal entries and perform reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. Manage the chart of accounts and oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Prepare detailed financial reports to support organizational transparency and accountability. Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to support financial planning. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and tools used for accounting and reporting. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with grant management and financial reporting is preferred. Required Work Hours The position is full-time, requiring availability from Monday through Friday during the first shift. Benefits Competitive compensation with a pay range of $30 to $38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
