Job Description
Description A growing manufacturing company in Vista is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and operational accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and looking to grow within a collaborative accounting department. Responsibilities General Accounting + Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy + Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes + Review financial transactions and investigate discrepancies + Support inventory and cost accounting activities Reporting & Financial Support + Assist with preparation of financial statements and reporting packages + Maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation + Support audit preparation and compliance requests + Assist with budgeting and forecasting initiatives Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred + 2+ years of accounting experience required + Strong understanding of GAAP principles + Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred + Advanced Excel skills required + Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage, or SAP preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
