Job Description
A growing manufacturing company in Vista is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and operational accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and looking to grow within a collaborative accounting department.
ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracyPerform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReview financial transactions and investigate discrepanciesSupport inventory and cost accounting activitiesReporting & Financial SupportAssist with preparation of financial statements and reporting packagesMaintain supporting schedules and accounting documentationSupport audit preparation and compliance requestsAssist with budgeting and forecasting initiatives
