Job Description

• Please note this position will start training in Irwindale for 1-2 months before relocating to West Covina. Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 1 years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Chinese and have strong communication skills to work closely with internal departments. Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is highly preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness Review accounts receivable (AR) invoices and identify discrepancies Research and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams and vendors Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely manner Communicate and coordinate with other departments regarding billing, payments, and discrepancies Calculate and process driver payroll, including pay adjustments and supporting documentation Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Bilingual in English and Chinese Strong understanding of AP, AR, and basic accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Skills:
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
