Required Years of Experience 5 years Job Details The Thomas Keller Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for our businesses, The French Laundry, Ad Hoc, and our private events entity, Pop-Up Yountville. Your Role This position requires strong analytical thinking, financial reporting, and verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should possess the knowledge and the flexibility to do a variety of projects. Candidates with previous finance experience in a multi-unit hospitality environment are preferred.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Ensure that Daily Sales Summaries are approved in a timely manner
Record bank activity daily
Maintain a clean balance sheet reconciliation
Book monthly journal entries including but not limited to accruals and month end adjustments
File sales tax returns
Record and process payment for credit card transactions
Complete other requested projects as assigned Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting
5 years of progressive experience in a similar capacity
Experience using Restaurant365 or a similar accounting system
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Familiar with point-of-sales systems such as Toast
