Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a full-time Accountant I! This is an entry-level position in our fast-paced Accounting Department. The Accountant I will assist the existing team with various responsibilities including billing and invoicing clients, full cycle Accounts Payable, basic Accounts Receivable and month-end tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and willingness to ask questions. Independent initiative, strong customer service, and communication skills will help you succeed. What You Will Be Doing:

Full cycle Accounts Payable Working directly with the Controller to managing incoming mail, emails, and reviewing bills for accuracy. Entering and selecting for payment. Working with the Operations teams to resolve disputes. Reconciliation of monthly statements. Vendor account management for all locations. Assisting Sr. Billing Specialist with daily billing review tasks for our 11 locations, answering client questions about their charges, and supporting weekly invoicing. Learning how to use accounting and database systems. Working alongside an Accountant II to complete month close processes and support basic AR tasks. Providing general administrative support to the Accounting Team as needed.

What you bring to us:

1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience strongly preferred (entrylevel candidates with strong aptitude and QuickBooks experience will be considered) Ability to transition to AIenabled environment strongly preferred Exposure to logistics & transportation industry also preferred Strong organizational skills, very high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Respond to vendor/customer requests and concerns effectively, timely, and professionally Demonstrate positive attitude Must be dependable able to work in office 5 days a week Previous experience using Excel and a must Experience with QuickBooks Online, Outlook and/or databases is strongly preferred

Salary:

$25-$32 / Hour (starting) depending on experience
