Senior Cost Accountant A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to play a key role in plant operations finance, inventory management, and cost analysis. This position partners closely with operations leadership and will help drive process improvements, costing accuracy, and operational efficiencies.

High-impact position with strong operational exposure Opportunity to influence manufacturing efficiency and profitability Stable organization with a collaborative leadership team Mix of strategic analysis and hands-on accounting responsibility Excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into costing and operational finance Senior Cost Accountant Responsibilities Maintain and analyze standard costing, inventory valuation, labor, and overhead allocations Investigate material, labor, and overhead variances to improve product costing accuracy Support month-end close and operational finance reporting Review BOMs, routings, inventory processes, and manufacturing cost structures Lead inventory-related processes including cycle counts, physical inventory, and reserve analysis Assist with operational reporting, margin analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis Partner with operations leadership on cost reduction and process improvement initiatives Support audits, internal controls, and system/process enhancements Cost Accountant Ideal Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of cost accounting experience within manufacturing Strong understanding of inventory valuation and standard costing methodologies Experience partnering with operations teams in a plant environment ERP experience and strong Excel skills required Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Process improvement and systems mindset preferred Salary up to $120K #
