Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Boulder, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, accounting skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting audit preparations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Utilize Sage Intacct to streamline accounting processes and ensure efficiency.
• Support audit preparation by organizing financial documents and responding to auditor requests.
• Assist with monthly accounting tasks to maintain compliance and operational accuracy.
• Maintain a relaxed and detail-focused approach to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
