As a GL Accountant, you will provide vital support to help streamline the company's financial processes. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain all General Ledger Accounting functions and ensure GAAP compliance
• Record all GL adjustments on monthly basis inc. prepaid, insurance and depreciation
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and record all accruals
• Prepare and submit monthly report regarding necessary bad debt reserve
• Manage balancing of intercompany invoices and billing
• Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements
• Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury and banking activities
• Perform reconciliation of all GL accounts
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders
• Assist with special projects as needed Requirements BS or BA degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience Four (4) + years strong GL accounting experience Experience with job costing, project accounting, % of completion and fixed assets Knowledge of all GAAP accounting standards Possess high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail in fast paced environment Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision Strong problem solving, organizational, communication and listening skills Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS office suite of programs Proficiency with Timberline, Viewpoint Vista or similar industry ERPs
