Up to $90,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits About the Company We are a growing construction firm based in Greenwood Village, delivering high-quality projects across the Denver metro area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to gain exposure to project accounting, operations, and leadership within a stable, expanding organization. Position Overview The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, job cost analysis, and financial reporting. This individual will partner closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate financial data across multiple projects and entities while maintaining strong accounting processes. This role is ideal for a candidate with solid general ledger experience who is interested in construction or project-based accounting and is looking for long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Review job cost reports and support project accounting analysis Assist with accounts payable and vendor management processes Support WIP schedules and project-related reporting Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepaid expense reconciliations Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Partner with project managers and operations to track and manage costs Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting experience required Construction, project-based, or job cost accounting experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Accumatica or similar) Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $90,000 depending on experience Bonus potential Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Career growth opportunities within a stable and expanding company #ZRCFS #LI-BF1 #INMAY2026
