Senior Accountant:

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to transition into a leadership position. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and support the day-to-day accounting functions while also contributing to process improvements and mentorship of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Multi entity and intercompany transactions. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation. Develop and improve internal accounting processes and controls. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning.

Qualifications of Senior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a family office, private company, or professional services firm. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite ) Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
