Full Job Description Staff Accountant Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Controller in our Golden, CO office, Display Devices, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their back office.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Payroll Daily cash reconciliations. Daily AP entries, coordinating with the purchasing manager as necessary. Knowledge of three-way match required. Daily AR invoicing, coordinating with Sales as necessary. Daily inventory reconciliations, coordinating with the inventory manager as necessary. Reconcile various balance sheet accounts and actively communicate any unusual variances. Administer weekly payment runs for the approval of the controller, which will require active communication with various project managers. Reconcile credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements through SAP Concur against the general ledger. Assist with various audit and compliance needs. Ad hoc assistance with various projects.

Staff Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (e.g. finance, economics, business administration, etc.) required. 3-5+ years of accounting experience. Prior experience in public accounting or consulting preferred, but not required. Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel (e.g. pivot tables, proper formatting of workbooks, complex formulas, etc.). Prior experience working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool preferred, but not required.
