Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Vineland, NJ. We are in search of a Senior Accountant that will play a key role in supporting the finance function, blending core accounting responsibilities with payroll and select HR-related activities. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, working closely with leadership to support month-end close, financial analysis, budgeting, payroll administration, and external audit and tax processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing organization.

$80,000-$90,000 base salary Key Responsibilities Coordinate and process bi-weekly payroll, working closely with ADP on payroll administration and issue resolution Support the CFO with HR-related activities, including benefits renewals and 401(k) administration Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Assist with the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget support Liaise with external CPA firms for annual audits and tax filings Support process improvements and help streamline accounting operations Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior accounting staff Qualifications Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and month-end close processes Hands-on experience with Jonas Club Software (Encore) highly preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and quantitative skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Approximately 5 years of relevant accounting experience Positive attitude, adaptable mindset, and willingness to support where needed Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
