Summary The Revenue Accountant assists in recording revenue from oil and gas production sales, preparing essential internal and external reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. This position requires advanced technical knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific revenue practices. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Prepare monthly revenue allocations for operated properties.
- Process monthly payments for non-operated revenue.
- Assist in preparing and filing regulatory reports and severance/conservation tax reports with state and federal agencies.
- Facilitate ONRR royalty payments for company production from federal leases.
- Address inquiries from royalty and working interest owners regarding owner relations.
- Track revenue receipts to verify timely receipt of purchaser payments and ensure alignment with company's metered volumes.
- Coordinate the printing of monthly owner royalty statements and respond to royalty owner inquiries.
- Conduct monthly and ad-hoc analyses of realized pricing and product yields.
- Prepare revenue source documentation for audit requests and support special projects as required. Core Competencies

- Working Well with Others Education and Experience (required):
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Upstream oil and gas experience
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft 360
- BOLO experience Education and Experience (preferred):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Other Requirements

- Valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle report, and good driving habits
- Ability to legally work in the US without sponsorship Additional Information Compensation Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $73,800 - $116,000 annually in this location.
