How you'll spend your time as a

Staff Accountant:

Manage payables process, including credit card reconciliations and 1099 filings. File monthly sales tax reports in multiple jurisdictions. Serve as backup for weekly payroll processing and assist with Certified jobs and weekly filings. File taxes for jobs in Wyoming and all paperwork required from Wyoming to finalize jobs with the state. Assist with creating procedures for all areas of the accounting department: AR, job cost, inventory, HR, and AP. Collaborate with project managers to manage accurate job cost tracking. Prepare monthly reconciliations for month-end and year-end. Audit support and internal control management. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a

Staff Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 4+ years of accounting experience. Experience with financial analysis. Construction accounting experience strongly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments. Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
