The Staff Accountant will be a key member of our accounting team and will have hands-on responsibility for a variety of accounting and financial activities, including: Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities Monitor inventory, fixed assets, and other key balance sheet accounts Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Support internal and external audits Help maintain and improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls Work closely with other departments to improve the flow and accuracy of financial information Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow Qualifications/Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced attention to detail and accuracy Strong Excel and computer skills Experience working with ERP systems preferred Manufacturing experience is a plus Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team A proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions, identify opportunities, and take ownership
