Location:
Southport, CT — We are seeking local candidates who can work in the office full-time during the first six months, followed by a hybrid schedule requiring at least two days in the office each week. Certain peak tax-deadline periods require all work to be performed in the office.Note:
A CPA license and strong tax preparation experience are required. This is a local opportunity, and relocation assistance is not available. Job Description Prepare and review individual, business, partnership, and other tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail. Apply strong tax knowledge to identify issues, opportunities, and potential planning strategies. Work closely with clients and internal team members to gather information and resolve tax-related questions. Research tax matters and stay current with applicable federal and state tax regulations. Support tax compliance and planning initiatives across a diverse client base. Review financial information and supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate tax filings. Manage deadlines effectively during peak tax seasons while maintaining a high standard of client service. Contribute your experience and insight to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Active CPA license required. 5+ years of directly relevant tax preparation experience. Strong knowledge of tax compliance and preparation. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet firm deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per yearBenefits:
