This Project Accountant position will work closely with accounting leadership, operations teams, and project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting, job costing, billing, and analysis. Responsibilities Manage project accounting functions including job costing, budgeting, billing, and revenue tracking Prepare and analyze project financial reports and forecasts Monitor project expenses and identify cost variances Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy Support process improvement initiatives and help streamline accounting procedures Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Serve as a trusted Project Accountant resource for internal stakeholders and leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience; project accounting or construction/manufacturing industry experience is a plus Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset suited for a successful career Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package PTO and paid holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement for the right Project Accountant candidate If you are looking for a position where your work will be noticed, your ideas will be valued, and you can grow alongside a successful company, this Project Accountant opportunity could be the perfect fit. #LI-JL1 EB-4069289946Similar jobs in Hartford, CT
