Meriden, CT Grow Your Career in Aerospace Manufacturing Step into a newly created Cost Accountant role with a growing aerospace manufacturer where you'll have the opportunity to learn the business, work directly with an experienced Controller, and ultimately take ownership of the cost accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing accountant who has built a solid foundation and is ready for broader exposure to costing, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting. What Matters Most 2 + years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Hands-on exposure to cost accounting and inventory Strong Microsoft Excel skills 100% onsite in Meriden, CT Epicor experience is a plus What You'll Do Support and ultimately own manufacturing cost accounting and inventory activities Analyze standard costs, manufacturing variances, labor, overhead, WIP, and other key cost drivers Assist with budgeting and forecasting as you grow into the role Support month-end close activities related to manufacturing costs and inventory Partner with the Controller and Operations to understand how costs move through the manufacturing process Use Excel and ERP data to analyze results and provide meaningful financial insight Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with manufacturing costs, inventory, or related plant accounting responsibilities Strong Excel skills and ability to work comfortably with financial and operational data Understanding of standard costing, BOMs/routings, labor, overhead, or variance analysis preferred Epicor or other manufacturing ERP experience preferred Comfortable working 100% onsite Your New Organization Join a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer supporting complex, high-profile programs within the industry.
