This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to- day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee general accounting functions including: General ledger maintenance Month-end and year-end close Account reconciliations Journal entries Financial statement preparation Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions Coordinate audits and work with external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed Prepare and analyze financial reports for management Assist with system implementations and process improvements Mentor junior accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.) Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Prior supervisory or management experience Experience with multi-entity accounting Strong analytical and process improvement mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities
