2-4 years in cost accounting; manufacturing/aerospace preferred
Education:
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field Main responsibilities: Manage standard costing, job costing, and inventory valuation Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Support government/defense contracts, GAAP, and DCAA audits Handle NPI/product costing and profitability analysis Work with SAP ERP or Epicor and advanced Excel Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams Ideal candidate: A cost accountant with strong manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, standard costing, ERP, and inventory experience, ideally with exposure to aerospace or government contracting.
Preferred:
CMA or CPA.
