QuickBooks Payroll Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Acountant to join our public accounting firm. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations for a diverse client base, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and working with client and other staff members. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical skills in accounting and accounting software, excellent client service abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple engagements effectively .
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Services:
Manage the monthly accounting cycle for multiple clients, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare and review accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other required frameworks. Oversee or assist with AP, AR, payroll entries, and adjusting journal entries. Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies and provide actionable insights to clients. Assist clients with software setup, accounting process improvements, and technology solutions. Prepare financials in anticipation of tax preparation. Prepare and file sales tax returns Track multiple client deadlines
Client Service & Team Collaboration:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by maintaining proactive communication and delivering timely, value-added services. Participate in client onboarding, planning, and periodic meetings. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the highest level of service and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3-5 years of experience in public accounting Proficiency in different accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online and Desktop, as well as Xero). Experience in Thompson Reuters products is a plus

Negotiable depending on experience and credentials Job location type: In office but may consider hybrid/remote
